Standings MotoGP team Yamaha, Jorge Lorenzo ready to achieve full points at the Malaysian GP at the Sepang Circuit this weekend. According to him, the track in Sepang for the bike more friendly than in Motegi last year.At last weekend's Japanese GP, Lorenzo did have a problem on the track straight. As a result, the Spaniard rider must give place to the leading Honda rider, Dani Pedrosa. In fact, he could be in front until lap 10.
"We have to stay focused and do the best thing for the sake of showing a good performance this weekend. Trek (at Sepang) may be better suited to our bike than Motegi, so we aim the best results here, Lorenzo said, as reported by Bernama.com, Thursday (18/09/2012).
Lorenzo also commented on the difference in points between himself and Pedrosa thinning. According to him, victory is the only way to keep a distance from Pedrosa, to win the title of world champion of both.
"The hunt for the championship title is very tight and exciting. After Pedrosa earned full points in Motegi, so we have to win to keep our pace, "said 25-year-old racer.
Currently Lorenzo has accumulated 310 points or 28 points ahead of Pedrosa who followed in second position. However, if he is careless-like during the race at Motegi, it is not impossible position taken by Pedrosa, who had fully motivated to win his first title.
