Yamaha: Spies Absent at Phillip Island

Ben Spies certainly not going to race in MotoGP Australia. It was announced management team Yamaha.

Spies fell very hard in the Malaysian MotoGP race at the rain. After conducting a further examination at the Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Spies expressed severe injuries and had to undergo surgery.

"An inspection was carried out alongside the track medical team that found no serious injuries. However, after further tests in Kuala Lumpur, Spies had to undergo surgery, "a statement from Yamaha.

"The Texan will return to the U.S. tomorrow (today), Tuesday, October 23 to receive further treatment for the shoulder, cracked ribs in the upper chest and bruised lungs," continued the statement.

Although certainly without Spies, Yamaha will not seek a replacement for Jorge Lorenzo assist. Japanese manufacturers that explain not have enough time to find a replacement that American drivers.

"Yamaha Factory Racning will not seek a replacement Spies to race at Phillip Island because it did not have enough time," he said, as reported by Crash, Tuesday (23/10/2012)
